Suleymaniye Mosque & Academy was established to serve the spiritual and educational needs of the Muslim community through worship, learning, and character development. From the beginning, the institution was guided by the belief that faith, discipline, and community are essential foundations for a balanced life.
What began as a place for prayer and gathering gradually expanded to include structured Islamic education, responding to the needs of families seeking faith-centered learning for themselves and their children.
Suleymaniye Mosque continues to serve worshippers through daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and religious programs rooted in Islamic tradition. Located at our Dix Hills location, the mosque provides a consistent place for worship, reflection, and community connection.
Over time, the mosque’s role expanded beyond prayer, becoming a center for learning, youth engagement, and community gatherings.
As the community grew, the need for structured Islamic education increased. Suleymaniye Academy was developed to provide students with Qur’an studies, character development, discipline, and academic responsibility.
The academy serves families seeking an Islamic school and Islamic boarding school experience rooted in faith, structure, and daily practice.
Today, Suleymaniye Mosque continues to serve the community at its current location, while Suleymaniye Academy focuses on educating the next generation through faith-centered learning.
