These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of suleymaniyeli.com (the “Site”) operated by Suleymaniye Mosque.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) About Suleymaniye Mosque
Suleymaniye Mosque is a Sunni Islamic mosque and education center serving the Long Island community through worship, education, events, and related community services.
2) Permitted Use
You may use this Site for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes related to:
- Viewing mosque information, events, announcements, and services
- Contacting us
- Supporting campaigns and donating
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
- Interfere with the Site’s operation or security
- Use the Site to transmit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content
- Scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the Site (including donor displays)
3) Donations and Payments
If you make a donation through the Site:
- Donations are processed through Stripe (third-party payment processor).
- You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.
- All donations are final unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated on the donation page.
- Donation acknowledgments/receipts may be provided via email or through the payment processor.
Tax note (placeholder): Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of donations. If the organization’s tax-exempt status or EIN should be listed here, add it.
4) Campaign Information and Transparency
Campaign descriptions, goals, and project plans (including the Islip purchase project) are provided for informational purposes and may change based on real-world needs (availability, approvals, costs, timelines, and community requirements).
5) Donor Recognition (Public Display)
Some campaign pages may display donor information (such as initials/name and donation amount) as part of donor recognition or transparency.
If you want your donation displayed as “Anonymous” where available, contact us at Suleymaniye@suleymaniyeli.com.
6) Content and Intellectual Property
All Site content (text, images, logos, graphics, layout) is owned by Suleymaniye Mosque or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display Site content without prior written permission, except for reasonable personal, noncommercial use.
7) User Submissions
If you submit information via forms (for example, contact messages):
- You agree your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You agree not to submit unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or harmful content.
- You understand we may use your submission to respond to you and administer services consistent with our Privacy Policy.
